A site-specific video and live performance piece developed for a 120′ video wall
Fiction, fantasy, reality, and history all blend together in this experimental piece developed for the Frank Gehry designed IAC headquarters’ 120′ video wall. Inspired by the lobby’s spatial possibilities, history of the neighborhood, and scale of the video wall, the piece is a combination of video and live performance whereby live performers and video characters alike inhabit a pulp comic and noir-inspired world.
Broken into simultaneous “scenes,” the piece is different across the span of the wall allowing the audience to walk the length of the lobby and experience a new twist every few feet.
Created in collaboration with Alex Abreu.
